The emergency broadcast network is on the radio. They’ve announced that the Governor has declared Mercer and Middlesex counties to be under martial law (I didn’t know a they could do that). Everyone is to stay in their homes until further notice but, to be honest, I’m not sure who’s going to enforce that. I haven’t heard anything about Pennsylvania yet.
Also, the Governor is calling up the entire National Guard (air and army).
They also said that there’s a number of units that were preparing to go to Afghanistan and Iraq at Ft. Dix. Someone has decided to issue them weapons and send them out to kick some alien ass. Travel time to the tripods around here should be less than an hour.
